McKean Family Endowed Professional Growth Fund

The McKean Family Endowed Professional Growth Fund supports University of Miami undergraduate and graduate students by providing financial assistance for professional attire needed for career-related opportunities.

Application Process

Students interested in the McKean Family Endowed Professional Growth Fund must submit an application for review by the Toppel Career Center. The fund is only open to currently enrolled University of Miami undergraduate or graduate students.

Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to students who demonstrate financial need. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students will be notified of their application status within 8–10 business days. 

Award Details & Requirements

Selected students will receive a one-time award of $185, credited to their student account. Once the award is distributed, students have 60 days to complete the following requirements:

All materials must be emailed to the Toppel Career Center.

Important:

  • Failure to complete these requirements within 60 days will result in the student’s Handshake account being suspended until resolved.
  • Any exceptions must be approved by the Toppel Career Center.
  • Students are encouraged to contact the Office of Financial Assistance to determine whether this funding may impact their financial aid package.
