Christine Lara
Career Coach
|
Meet Christine Lara, a Sophomore Engineering major with a minor in philosophy! Aside from her role as a career coach here at Toppel, she is also a part of the Association of Commuter Students and the Biomedical Engineering Society as well.
She says that the Toppel Career Center has helped her shine and achieve some of her career goals because it has helped her to step out of her comfort zone and make more connections, not only through career coaching but also by attending Toppel's career fairs.
The opportunities that she has acquired through Toppel have been her summer internship at a medical research office and shadowing a dermatologist who was a former Cane!
Piece of Advice:
“Life is like a train. Some people get off your train and new people and new opportunities also get on your train. What it tells me, is that life is full of changes, both good and bad, you just need to keep looking forward and never give up.”
