#OwnIt

Meet Marla Belizaire, a junior majoring in entrepreneurship and legal studies!

This summer, Marla will be interning with TJX Companies, where she’ll work in either Buying or Planning & Allocation. Marla is most excited about exploring trend forecasting, consumer behavior, and financial planning in this role. Outside of school, she also runs her own venture, Marla’s Events, which she launched at 16 and continues to grow through real-world experience in planning and coordination.

Toppel has been a huge help in Marla’s professional journey. She uses the interview rooms to prepare for important meetings and attends career development events through her chapter’s partnership with Toppel. These resources helped her strengthen her interview skills and explore different career paths.

Piece of Advice:

Start early and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Network intentionally and pursue opportunities that align with your interests, even if they seem intimidating. Every experience builds confidence and shapes your path forward.
