#KeepinIt100
Meet Gianna Satchell, a third-year broadcast journalism major with minors in law and politics, business law, and theatre arts!
On campus, Gianna works as a career coach at Toppel and a teaching assistant for First Year Directions, helping students navigate career resources and adjust to college life. These roles have strengthened her leadership, communication, and mentorship skills while reinforcing her own career development. In addition, she states that her scholarships have been instrumental in her career journey.
Gianna is #KeepinIt100 by networking with employers at career fairs and honing her leadership skills through Alpha Lambda Delta, UMTV, and other campus organizations. She says that through Toppel, she has been able to take full advantage of law school events and LSAT workshops, preparing herself for the admissions process.
Piece of Advice:
"Take advantage of every opportunity, like internships, networking events, and leadership roles – you never know where they’ll lead. Step outside your comfort zone, connect with mentors, and don’t hesitate to seek guidance from resources like Toppel!"
