#OwnIt
Meet Max, a junior double majoring in sport administration and finance!
Since his freshman year, he’s been all-in with University of Miami Athletics. He started in Ticket Sales and Service and even played a role in the department’s transition to partnering with Legends. With guidance from his mentor, Nate Miller, he’s found his lane. Ticket Operations blends finance, accounting, customer service, and tech all within the fast-paced sports industry. This past semester, he leveled up to Ticket Operations and Revenue Generation Intern and now serves as the senior intern training and mentoring newly hired student service specialists.
When it comes to career prep, Toppel Career Center has been part of his journey since day one. From fine-tuning his resume and understanding the power of a strong cover letter, to updating his LinkedIn photo at the Headshot Booth, he’s used every resource to stand out.
Piece of Advice:
“I definitely recommend all students join clubs that are focused on what they want to do in their careers. I also advise them to use all resources like Toppel while they are at our disposal, and to always be critiquing their elevator pitch to sell themselves to employers, because first impressions are so important!”

“Even when you are scared of something, do it anyway. I would not be where I am today If I had not done a lot of the things that made my heart pound.”
