#KeepinIt100
Meet Harrison Wilmot, a first-year public relations major from San Jose, CA!
With aspirations soaring high and boundless optimism, Harrison has naturally found his place at the U. Attending networking events such as the President’s Council Lunch and ‘Canes Career Mixer, AKPsi’s rush week, and continuing to interview for countless extracurriculars, Harrison finds fulfillment amidst a busy schedule.
As a member of Student Government’s Category 5 and a youth educator at Temple Judea, he elevates the energy not only in the classroom but outside of it as well. To top it off, he showcased his talents on the biggest stage by singing the US national anthem at two different UMiami basketball games—in addition to reading Torah and serving as a role model at Hillel on campus!
Beyond his achievements in the school year, Harrison looks towards his future. From studying abroad in the French Riviera this summer to lining up sales-focused jobs and internships, he credits Toppel for daring him to be bold and embrace opportunities with every person he meets. He says that through Toppel, he has been able to network at the highest level, attending the Harvard Business School Visit, Job & Internship Expo, and Communication, Media & Entertainment Fair, to name a few!
Piece of Advice:
“Just try - go outside your comfort zone, embrace challenges, and you’ll see how much you grow through experience!”
