Meet Roni Kennedy, a junior majoring in Innovation, Technology, & Design!

Being passionate about the intersection of technology, global business, and law, Roni was able to explore those industries during the Toppel Career Center’s London Career Crawl. Through this experience, she networked with professionals from companies like Hogan Lovells, Morgan Stanley, and Bloomberg, gaining invaluable insights into her fields of interest.

On campus, she’s interning with the RAD Lab, where she contributes to the development of a smart HealthHub mirror using computer vision technology, an experience that’s expanded her skills in design and innovation.

Roni is also a member of Kappa Theta Pi, a technology fraternity that’s been instrumental in helping her connect with professionals, find new opportunities, and grow within a supportive community of tech enthusiasts.

Piece of Advice:

"Be proactive! Good things don’t just happen – you have to put yourself out there. Join clubs, attend panels, and participate in internships or competitions. These steps will help you meet new people and learn more about yourself!"

Next time that you search on Handshake, just click on “all filters” in the top toolbar, and it will show you the filters such as job type, pay, location, and more! Using specific filters is important because it saves time, ensuring you’re only viewing jobs that match your needs and qualifications. Plus, filters make it easy to discover opportunities you may have missed otherwise!

Meet Ashley Chavarria, a senior majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Business Analytics!

Ashley is an active member of the Association of Commuter Students (ACS) and is excited to kick off her Winter Audit Internship at PwC during their busy season. This experience will give her hands-on experience in their dynamic, fast-paced environment.

One way that Ashley has been #KeepinIt100 is by attending on-campus events to build connections and stand out to employers. These efforts have opened many doors, leading to interviews and internship offers that have shaped her career path.

Ashley says it’s important to view interviews as a two-way street – while companies learn about you, it’s just as important for you to assess whether their culture is the right fit for you!
