Jannai Ahadzi
Employer Engagement Intern
|
Meet Jannai Ahadzi, a Political Science and International Studies double major with a minor in Sociology on the pre-law track! Aside from being an Employment Engagement Intern here at Toppel, she is also a part of the African Students Union, United Black Students, NAACP, Above the Bar, UMiami Dems, and the National Council of Negro Women.
She said that she had to #LevelUp by coming out of her shell and being less reserved
with people she doesn’t know that well. She also states that she had to take more initiative to seek out newer and better opportunities for herself, as well as remind herself to never get overly complacent about where she is now.
This led her to zone in on what she wanted to focus her law career on. To help her get there, she plans to study abroad, obtain internships, and allow herself to spend more time doing humanitarian work both in the United States and abroad.
Piece of Advice:
“Don’t doubt yourself! Believe in yourself and your abilities, because there is no way you would have gotten to where you are now if you weren’t worthy of it or working hard for it.”
