Yalien Allen
Career Coach
|
Meet Yalien Allen, a sophomore dual nursing and health science major from Prince George’s County, Maryland!
On campus, Yalien serves as the Community Service Chair for the National Council of Negro Women and is also a member of the American Sign Language Club. Passionate about helping others, she’s excited to use this academic year to fully tap into Toppel’s resources, especially to network within the healthcare field and explore opportunities for growth.
Yalien is committed to #KeepinIt100 by staying focused, embracing new experiences, and staying true to her purpose. This mindset has already led her to shadow healthcare professionals, build meaningful connections, and sharpen the skills she needs to become a well-rounded healthcare provider.
Piece of Advice:
“Trust the process and embrace the journey – even when things don’t go as planned. And don’t be afraid to ask for help—there are so many people willing to support you.”
