#UShine
Meet Lilith Lian Rosenfeld, a junior fine arts major with a concentration in painting, sculpting, and multimedia works and minors in art history and psychology!
Lilith attended the Career Crawl: Arts & Sciences in NYC this spring break, where she participated in a four-day long trip and had the opportunity to meet with executives and UM alumni from a broad range of career paths in New York. A few weeks ago, Lilith entered three of her pieces into UM's Lowe Art Museum's Annual Juried Student Exhibition and was overjoyed when she found out that one of her ceramic pieces was chosen to be displayed this year! As a young artist, it is important to her that her art reflects her passions and her being.
Lilith says that The Toppel Career Center has helped her profoundly in her professional development. Some individual resources she has utilized thus far have been their resume reviews and professional headshot photo booth. She says that the Toppel staff is always happy to assist their 'Canes in whatever way they can, and this attitude is deeply appreciated by both current students and their vast alumni network.
Piece of Advice:
“Meditate on what truly matters to you. What do you want your future, and the future to look like? Become involved, in some capacity, in causes that are meaningful to you and promote structural change for the better. In the same vein, try to identify habits and people that are harmful or no longer serve you, and prioritize accordingly. Study yourself...learn your strengths and weaknesses and focus on how to mold your personal and professional well-being around them.”
