#BounceBack

Meet Hikari Sanchez! Hikari is a sophomore from New York City studying Microbiology and Immunology, Public Health, and Chinese. She is part of the President's 100, Category 5 Council, the Asian American Students Association, and the Department of Orientation and Commuter Student Involvement, but that wasn't always the case. During her freshman year, Hikari applied to several leadership positions and was initially rejected, but she did not give up. Her resilience and renewed self-confidence has allowed her to #BounceBack and grow both personally and professionally in the process.

Some advice from Hikari: Don't overthink it. Just do it.

Best Advice:

Hesitation leads to devastation. Although this sounds corny because it rhymes, it is important to me because it reminds me to do everything with my full attention, go full force and have a positive mindset.
