As you begin to think about your plans for winter break, consider participating in the Skills Advantage Series: Winter Edition. This is a 6-week virtual program that enables you to learn beyond the classroom by honing specific transferable skills. This is an ideal solution for students who want to maximize their winter break in between semesters.
The program, which is offered through the Toppel Career Center, is free and open to all students of the university. The program offers six tracks that will provide new competencies in digital marketing, project management, healthcare data science, graphic design, non-profit and grant writing, and coding.
Upon the completion of the series, you will receive a certificate with the number of hours completed. For more information regarding the series, please email Ismaris Ocasio or Logan Caswell .

Best Advice?
Always be open to opportunities, because it is better to try and fail than to have never tried.
#BreakThru Story?
I have had to mentally #BreakThru barriers that have helped me move towards my career goals. I did this by becoming more self-aware in an effort to continue my journey of personal growth. My mentor has given me the advice that every step toward your goals is a step toward your personal growth as well, and I really resonate with that.
