#BounceBack

Meet Emi Kopke! Emi is a senior from Chicago majoring in Architecture, with minors in Art, Psychology, and Elementary Education. She works as an Ambassador for the School of Architecture, and as an Architecture Peer Advisor here at Toppel. Emi took some time off to focus on family and is ready to #BounceBack for her senior year, “with a baby and managing a full-time schedule with full-time mommy-ing!” Trying to manage both worlds has taught Emi about time management and balance in life, and she has been able to adjust her perspective and focus in a very positive way.

Some advice from Emi: There is no such thing as “sticking to the plan.” Your path is constantly evolving and it’s perfectly fine to flow with it!

#BounceBack Story?

After encountering the hardships of COVID-19 this past year, I’ve had to #BounceBack in all aspects of my life, including the entire college application process during my senior year of high school. Despite being faced with hard times, all the work ended up paying off because now I’m at my dream school! I’m excited to see what the University of Miami has to bring, not only for me, but for my fellow peers and staff members.
