#BounceBack

Meet Isabella Paez! Isabella is a sophomore majoring in Business Analytics and Business Technology. She has been active on Cane2Cane, our career mentoring platform that allows students and alumni to establish new connections in their network, explore career paths, and prepare for the workplace. Here is Isabella's Cane2Cane success story:

"I joined Cane2Cane to learn from others’ mistakes and experiences. I connected once with a woman whose name is Katherine and identified with her. This connection was meaningful for me, since she explained how she graduated from the University with a degree in Health Management but found herself working as a Data Analyst. A day in her life as a Data Analyst captivated my attention, and a few months later, I declared my major in Business Analytics. I can say that it was one of my best decisions, and I expressed my gratitude to Katherine for helping me with all the questions I prepared for that day. What was supposed to be a one-hour call turned 3 hours, and I had a lot of fun."

Open Doors with Handshake

Handshake is more than just a job search platform. You can use your account to make connections with other users and ask questions to them. For example, if you’re considering an internship or job opportunity, you can ask students at other universities who have done it for feedback from their experience. You can also connect with industry recruiters.

Here is one story that illustrates how Handshake is opening doors for students, and how it could help you find your dream job.
