Amrutha Chethikattil is a junior studying Biochemistry, English, and Political Science from Phoenix, Arizona. Outside of Toppel, Amrutha is an Involvement Chair for COSO, a Logistics Chair for Student Engagement Planning Agency (part of Student Government), Secretary for Above the Bar, a photographer for Yearbook, editor for Scientifica, and a member of the Honor Council. She is happy to be back safely on campus this semester and to be pursuing aspirations in the legal field.
Best Advice?
I wish I could have known to trust the process. My freshman year I was worried about my future career, grades, involvements, friends, etc. Everything figured itself out without the extra stress.
#BreakThru Story?
One real struggle was figuring out what I wanted to do in the future, and I think this was partially because I wasn't really listening to myself and also because I was scared of making drastic changes to my "set future plan". But I knew my passion was in law, so I really had to pivot my career plans, and I am so thankful I did. I joined Above the Bar, a pre-law organization on campus, and met amazing people, made connections, and learned a lot for when I apply to Law School.
