“From a talent acquisition perspective, COVID-19 is requiring us to rethink how we can engage our talent pipeline in a virtual environment, in both the short and long term, and how we can use digital tools to our advantage in order to build the strongest and most diverse possible talent pipeline,” says Rod Adams, talent acquisition leader for PwC.

Best Advice?
Make good choices. My mom used to say this to me every morning before school.
#BreakThru Story?
During my sophomore year, I was applying to a lot of internships at major companies; however, because of the COVID-19 pandemic many of the internships I hoped to receive were cancelled. Luckily, I was able to find an awesome internship with a small boutique communications firm and got a lot of advice and one-on-one experience that I may not have gotten at a larger company. I have been able to add many skills and certifications to my resume which have helped me secure another internship with an independent influencer. Additionally, many of the business tactics I learned will be helpful for my own business in the future.
