Best Advice?
Behind every successful person, there is an invisible trail of failures, mistakes and missteps in their wake. Personal failure only exists if you say it does, so why not take the risk?
#BreakThru Story?
Although I love acting and theatre, I am not a singer. However, my high school’s theatre program only ever did musicals, but I didn't let that stop me. I participated in all of our shows and eventually I rose from being just a member to becoming the president. Becoming president allowed me to produce a show that gave others a chance to showcase their talents when they didn't have the opportunity. I directed my cast members, choreographed dance routines, organized rehearsal schedules, designed flyers and tickets and coordinated the technical aspects of the show.
Thankfully through the collaboration of my officers and my dedicated cast members, the show was a success. Since I knew the importance of not being overlooked, it was vital to me that other students had the opportunity to shine.
