#GoalDiggin
Meet Ana Colicchio, a junior majoring in marketing and minoring in Italian. Ana was #GoalDiggin as a digital media intern this past summer at NBC Universal’s Telemundo Enterprises. She shares, “At Telemundo, I worked directly with the digital operations team where I managed day to day projects on their website and mobile application, on-boarded new vendors and optimized current vendors, analyzed the digital teams content output, and helped pitch ideas for the new NBC Universal streaming service.”
Ana explains how Toppel helped her become career ready, “Toppel has been an incredible resource for me ever since I started going. Since that moment, I have frequented Toppel to receive feedback on my resumes, cover letters, and my interview skills. Toppel gave me crucial advice when it came to finding an internship.” Ana also notes how an advisor at Toppel helped her narrow down her career interests in the business field as well as guide her in networking with professionals. She credits her advisor for helping her land the digital media internship as well as secure an internship with Proctor & Gamble for the Summer of 2020.
Some advice from Ana: “I would definitely recommend taking advantage of all of the resources that Toppel has to offer. Freshmen & Sophomores should strive to perfect their resumes and interview skills at Toppel as they begin their journey through college, and upper classmen should definitely make use of the company-specific practice interviews that Toppel has to offer as well as the advice that the advisors have to offer. With hard work and the proper guidance, anyone can land their dream job.”

I attended Bridgewater State University as an undergraduate where I was extremely involved. My time consisted of being a full-time student, a Resident Assistant, a mentor to high school students, co-hosting “The Art of Hip-Hop” radio show, leading alternative break trips, attending study abroad tours, and serving as the programming chair for Bridgewater Coffeehouse Entertainment. My undergraduate experiences truly shaped who I am today and I’m incredibly grateful for the pearls I gained. I would suggest to students to get to know yourself, explore your interests, learn new things, and always remember to be gentle with yourself through rough patches. You can leave college with just a degree or you can leave college with a greater version of you and a degree.
