#BossedUp

Meet John Cuneo, a recent graduate from the Miami Business School.

John says that attending info sessions and career fairs helped him develop networking and interview skills that he used to land his job with Cisco Systems as an Associate Systems Engineer in the Cisco Sales Associate Program (CSAP)! Worldwide there were over 20,000 applicants and approximately 20 were hired in the US.

Some advice from John: “Perhaps the greatest lesson I learned throughout this whole process was to find and keep great mentors. They have so much wisdom and experience to share. I believe everything my mentors have taught me will save years of time learning the hard way down the road. I have begun archiving some of the best advice I have received on my website cuneocode.com for others to benefit from as well.”

If you have any questions for John, he is open to being contacted via LinkedIn.

Ismaris Ocasio

Assistant Director, Graduate Student Programs

“I attended Bridgewater State University for undergrad where I was extremely involved. My time consisted of being a full-time student, being a Resident Assistant, being a mentor to high school students, co-hosting “The Art of Hip-Hop” radio show, leading alternative break trips, attending study abroad tours, and serving as the programming chair for Bridgewater Coffeehouse Entertainment. My undergraduate experiences truly shaped who I am today and I`m incredibly grateful for the pearls I gained.”
