#MakeMoves by Ending Your Internship on a High Note

With fall just around the corner, your summer internship or research experience may be coming to the end. There are a few things you can do to make sure you end your summer experience on a high note! This article from the Balance provides some great advice on what to do when your internship comes to an end.

Upload Your Latest Resume to Handshake

Over the summer you’ve probably gained some new skills and experiences – make sure to reflect this on your resume! Take the time before classes start to create or update your resume and upload it to Handshake.

Joselyn Garcia

Sr. Administrative Assistant

Joselyn provides administrative support for the department, assists with scheduling internal and external meetings for the Associate Dean and Executive Director, prepares financial reports, reconciles accounts, and supervises front office operations including student staff. Her professional experience includes work in the fields of event management, logistics, online advertising, qualitative research, financial reporting, purchasing management, and general organizational operations. She has been with the University of Miami since 2011 and has worked for the Center for Latin American Studies. Joselyn is bicultural, bilingual in Spanish, and has over 13 years of customer service and administrative experience.
