I am currently the Assistant Director of Career Education and Outreach at the Toppel Career Center in the University of Miami. I have a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Political Science from the Florida International University. I have completed two years of service with the Peace Corps in the Southeast Asian country of Cambodia, and I also completed two years of service with the AmeriCorps program City Year in Overtown Miami at Booker T. Washington High school. My passions are working with students on how to best prepare themselves to be great in the future, and being up to date on international affairs and politics. I am currently training to run a Marathon I also love kayaking and being out in the ocean which makes Miami the ideal home for me!

I attended Florida International University where I received a Bachelor degree in International Relations and Political Science. When I first began, I thought that I wanted to join the Army, but after doing ROTC for a year I realized it wasn’t for me. I instead decided that I wanted to join the Peace Corps and was consistently making moves to do that, so that after I finished my undergraduate degree I could join. Just as I am now, I was very passionate about international affairs and politics and made sure to join clubs and made friends with people who had that same interest. I made sure that during this time I travelled around the United States as much as I could, even though I didn’t have that much money. I managed to organize a lot of road trips with friends from my university and had amazing times!
