Knowing what makes you unique is important in today’s job market. Your culture and experiences play a huge part in who you are and the lens you see the world through. Today, employers are placing a stronger emphasis on recruiting students from diverse backgrounds and place a high value on their unique perspectives. As part of the University of Miami community, the Multicultural Student Affairs Office is a great resource providing weekly programs and activities. If you are looking to join a student group and get more involved on campus, then consider joining one of the many groups available to you at UM.
