The Toppel Career Center promotes and supports the career development of LGBTQ students and alumni by connecting the LGBTQ community and allies with campus and external resources advocating for inclusive environments that foster personal and career growth.
The Toppel Career Center is dedicated to advocacy and development of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally (LGBTQ+) students at the University of Miami and beyond. The Toppel Career Center was recognized by the Out For Work Career Center Certification Program with a silver certification because of the quality resources provided to students and alumni throughout their personal, professional, and career development. In addition to the resources provided on our website and by Out For Work, we encourage students to also schedule an appointment with a career professional on Handshake to help formulate their career education plan.
